Can any One help me i am a little bit new to linux i have configured my red hat linux to do transparent proxying and caching through squid and now i want to remove the transpoarency i want to make it a normal proxy how do i do it please help

Edit your squid.conf and uncoment the httpd_accel* diorectives  and restart squid.

YOu can also do it by removing any maquerade rule or redirection rule in your IPTABLES. .. ie. in our Squid Proxy Tutorial we have to just follow "SIMPLE" proxy instruction ie. the first part.. don't follow second part and you r done..
