i've tried wvdial for LG LSP 340E but it waits for carrier. Does Linux use Carrier sense multiple access (CSMA/CD) in its MAC layer?
how shoul i use the phone as modem even if wvdial waits for a carrier
I use Fedora Core2 linux (RH).

well. .. use rconnect software provided by reliance for linux ! that worked flawlessely.. i was too unable to configure LSP 340 for internet from wvdial but mobile set were configured ..
so .. rconnect software from reliance is ur solution..
