I am not sure that my linux box work good as a PDC .
how i can test it and how i can config smb.conf for this ?

hi
When I setup the PC and join the domain, it gives me the 'Welcome to the Domain'
message.
Then when I reboot and attempt to login with a domain user, I get refused with the
'Windows cannot connect to the domain,.....' error.
I don't know what is the problem.
tnx

Then r u sure that you have configured xp correctly to connect to that domain and also make sure that samba is running on your linux box as PDC configured..

Well from fist instance it looks like you have not correctly configured the XP.

i thing because i write the ip's PDC ( Linux pdc ) in hosts file in win xp i can not login in the domain after restart computer . ( without write ip to this file i can not ping linux pdc )
what do you think?
and what i must to do for win xp ?
