Win2K dial up server ICS & conn. LAN through Squid
« on: September 20, 2004, 06:43:31 PM »
Dear all,
I have a Win2K pro dial up connection to the internet which is in front of a Squid proxy RedHat 9.0 connected to my LAN. I have enabled ICS on the Win2K pro and my LAN can browse through the Squid proxy.
My problem is I need my mail client  (Outlook express) to have direct access to my ISP mail server.  I tried to connect but I couldn't what do I do??? I wanted to try NAT but don't know how to recompile Kernel on 9.0 for me to do a NAT.

Win2K dial up - Squid RedHAt 9.0 - LAN

Thanks

You don't need to recompile.. just see Linux tutorials and how to section.
