Mouse and Keyborad detection problem
« on: August 12, 2004, 06:48:40 AM »
Hello all,

i m facing one problem related to the Keyboard and mouse. when i start the system  keyboard works. but when it checks the console mouse services keyboard and mouse do not work. even it shows console mouse service OK.

I go through the single mode and checked the interrupts. it is conflicting vth "usb-uhci,usb-uhci,eth0 ". i think for mouse there is reserved interrupt tht is 12. but it is not takin as it is conflicting. i checked all the interrupts in all the linux PCs and conclude 12 is mouse interrupt.

So plz give me suggestions or tell me how to edit the settings of interrupts. so tht my mouse and keyboaard will work.

Mouse and keyboard are both PS/2

thnx

Puneet
