(1/1)

tazmud:
Ellow.  I have a 2.4.26 kernel.
I want to get my Linux machine to be the internet connection shareing
server for my wifes laptop.

I was told to compile the kernel for it but no one has told me how
or what to do.  Can someone here plz give me the info on how to.

Tazmud.

Ricky:
Man there is no need to recompile b'coz at standard conditions all you have to enable packet forwarding. See this Internet Sharing Linux

but if that fails then probably u need to recompilre ur kernel to enable some features and I really don't think it will fail untill you are doing all right.

neo:
If you want to recompile then see this
