How to add new CD progams to already installed Linux
« on: November 17, 2008, 03:42:59 PM »
I am a new convert to Linux and I am primarily learning by the "trial-and-error method."  Now that I have  a Linux Operating System mounted onto my hard drive successfully; how can I add on additional programs from CD's on to my computer? I would like a step-by-step process to follow and will add this printed sheet to my "how to" folders for Linux.
