squid - bandwidth limit
« on: May 07, 2007, 05:31:30 AM »
hi !!

I want to control squid user as far as bandwidth usage is concerned.  Respecting the configuration file, delay-pool, delay-parameters and delay-class needs to be defined.  As I am a new comer, can anyone please help me to implement per-user bandwidth limitation on my squid proxy server?  Or can you please refer me a good tutorial to implement this thing?

Thanks n Regards

Thats has been done so many time in this forum. Just to ask.. do you want to limit per usage bandwidth in the sense of total data transferred or want to limit speed ie. say 64kbps per second ?

Here is the exact answer I did once for one such question :
squid delay pools
