I can not play sound on pclinux2006

I have installed pclinux2006 and unable to play sound.The error is
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1305:(_snd_pcm_hw_open) Invalid value for card
what should i so that i can play sound on system

Ricky:
there must be some graphical sound card configuration utility,  there see if u have any option to choose the card 's settings.
