newbie need to install modem over xandros

helo i first time instal linux xandros . i don't know enything abt linux . as pplz say xandos is just like windows so i install .
mi problem is i used tata indicomm LG lsp 340e fone . tht come with windows software.which s not working on xandros  when i connect mi fone to mi pc with usb cable there is no fone detect by linux.  now when i just gonna make a dialup connection it show only com7 & com 8 port there is no usb port shown .

plz ppl do help me how to connect with internet & telme the site name so i can easily learn linux

Try to obtain reliance rconnect software for linux, that would be helpful to you.
