i m not able logon to yahoo meesenger

i have download and set the proxy for the  yahoo messenger but i m not able to logon to yahoo messenger where is the problem  i am not able to get ???
pls help me

Your question is unclear, you have not stated that are you asking answer for proxy server setup in linux or u have problem with yahoo linux client.

Your questions makes me feels tht you are using window's client and linux proxy server. then I would suggest to try all 4 options of connectivity in yahoo, I hope one will work.
