Hello Friends
 Is there any software in linux which usefull for sound recording.
 I want to record sound of my company employee i have fedoracore linux so
 please send me the name of the software

don't know about fedora but in RH I had seen sound recorder like windows !
It was simple tool to record sound from mic..

hi ricky
 I got one software audacity which useful for recording but when i do installation
 it gives me following error

 checking for wx-config... no
 configure: error: "Could not find wx-config: is wxWindows installed? is wx-config in your path?"

deven.. sorry no idea but for you I looked up and found that there are two software already installed at FC1 i saw  under KDE for sound recording ! May be you should explore your KDE also ! :)

 I got the solution there is a softwre in KDE desktop namely 'KDE Recorder'
