installing problem netacct-mysql
« on: December 07, 2003, 01:46:54 PM »
Hello

Sorry for my bad English  :P

Earlier I have established аpache, mysql, php4.xx, phpMyAdmin and they normally work. I have tried to establish netacct-mysql-7ххх but it was not possible.

Please Help me to solve these problems if you have time let's in detail to me specify as correctly to establish mysql and what necessary packages mysql, what necessary options mysql can use netacct-mysql-7ххх

I have configured :

> netacct-folder ./configure
Mistakes:
the file mysql.h was not found, you must install mysql-devel package or you
can configure - with-prefix-mysql =/path/install/dir
(though I have found the file mysql.h in folder
/usr/local/mysql/include. How it is strange??)
However if I run ./ configure - with-prefix-mysql =./usr/local/mysql that

Arises other problem when I run a command:
> netacct-folder $ make
......
no such file pcap
..........
But I have found this file (pcap) in folder/usr/etc/pcap/

I have tried to reinstall mysql-server, mysql-devel, mysql-client but for the present
It was not possible

Me excuse because of such questions, I am newbie in Linux, thank you
