HI..
I want to know that booting linux from flash storage device is supported or not.. !!

I have read where this has been done, but it is tricky.  I will see what I can find.  I think the biggest thing is getting lilo or grub to see the device like it sees a hard drive.

If you done it the same as a bootable CD that may work though, just my thinking though.

I'll search around and see what I can find.

Well.. I want to say one thing here that booting linux from flash drive also requires that your board support it.. :)

Yep, that is what I was thinking too.  The mobo and BIOS has to see it like a hard drive so that grub or lilo can see that and then Linux can boot into it. That is a lot to ask.  I read where someone did that.  I can't find it though.

I'll dig around some more.  Say a prayer.
