Hello,
I had Win 98 on C: and Win XP on D: drive. I did not require Win 98, so I intalled Fedora Core 1 over it. Iam able to boot into Linux but not into Win XP. It stops aftert dispalying the following messages
          rootnoverify(hd0,4)
          chainloader +!.

The hard disk (80GB) is divided into 4 partitions each of 20GB.

Use windows recovery console to reinstall windows bootsector then use linux rescue to install linux bootsector then grub will autodetect the right partition or simply edit grub.conf .

Can you give your partition table here so that i can suggest your grub.conf !

Also if you can then post your grub.conf also.
