Title: kernel problem

i hav einstalled fedora core1.but there is problem in booting.after the grub is started the boot screen is not coming and the x is not started .command line is also not odtained :?:

umm.. u mean that you are able to boot linux but unable to start X ?

if so then after loging give "startx" and tell us what you get !

Using Grub or Lilo?

Can u confirm that u still have ur windows partition?

Hi Dear
Your boot loader is not confiured properly
 configure it properly
It will boot after configuring, b'coz same problem i had that i solved by uninstalling grub and configuring lilo as boot loader
