PLEASE I WOULD WANT YOU TO HELP ME BY EXPLAINING THE MEANING OF APACHE SERVER IN LINUX WHAT IT IS USED FOR HOW IT IS CONFIGURED AND HOW IT IS INSTALLED

apache server is a web server of linux , it is also available for windows . How to conifgure and how to set it up not hard.. just get rpm and install  it..

BTW.. a good, comprehensive and detailed documentation is available on http://httpd.apache.org/docs-project/

Also LinuxSolved.com is running on Apache !! :)
