Title: How to configure iptables

I have ftp server on my LAN and I want to make it can be reached from internet.
Can somebody help me how to configure iptables??

man.. do you have firewal configured ? to reach it from internet you have to give your machine's public IP in your ftp client over internet. if it is on internet machine then you have to do port forwarding ie.. forward ftp request to your ftp machine in your lan..  ..

is that so you want ?

Yes, I have firewall.
So how can i configure ip forwarding?
is that in shorewall??
