Title: Fedora Core 2: Unable to see Desktop Icons Which Disappeard
Post by: dragoncity99 on July 26, 2004, 10:58:37 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm using Fedora Core 2 lately and notice something weird happened.
When i was editing some text files with gedit. Suddenly then desktop icons went "Kazaam" and disappeared. Unable to right click the desktop and bring up the pop up menus as well.

  Anyone encountered this problem before?

But now i think it's no longer appearing. After a reboot is applied but of  course i think i changed a few things in the configuration editor to refresh  it.

Other than that, there is one thing often happening to me. If i logged into my pc using thin client (LTSP). as a user (Let's say John), when i login with another pc also with the account "John", it gives me the following error:

 Error activating XKB configuration.
Probably internal X server problem.
