Hey can anyone tell me how to get mp3's to work on fedora core 2 xmms

U can use the xmms plugin provided in the XMSS webpage.

If cant then u might want to ask from me the older verion of xmms. I have the mp3 addon for it to play. Here u need to uninstall the current version in ur Fedora Core 2.

By the way, how's Fedora Core 2 looked like? Any nice things there? I'm currently using Fedora Core 1.

thanks for the help with mp3 got it working installed an rpm for mp3 support i had for rh9 it worked i found i had no sound to start so i did the aumix trick.

fedora core 2 is nice I like it. I changed the desktop and themes using kde desktop with download themes from kde.org

wanted to use nvidia vga card had to down load a 8stack kernel was available in rpm format

also found solution to dual boot XP fedora core using sfdisk command.

Did u try any backup solution or gaming stuffs on it?
