Title: Hate the large Icons in GNOME 2.4
Post by: LeeJam on May 19, 2004, 01:50:44 PM
Hiya all...

I have installed Mandrake 10.0 with the GNOME GUI. I love the way it's set out and the way it works - this coming from a former dedicated but loathing WindozeXP user - but I really dislike the *large* icons that are the default.  I have looked throught the GNOME config settings, but to no avail.  Is there any option for me to get smaller icons on the desktop?

Thanks in advance.

Lee

I have a generic 17" monitor and can't increase my resolution or my refresh rate.  It's stuck at 1024x768 at 82Hz, however when I reboot into windoze my resolution is 1152x864 at 75Hz.

Ricky, do you know anything about setting up USB in mandrake 10.0?  if so, where should I post my question?

To be safe, do as wat Ricky say on the config file, i suggest u to use Generic CRT monitor display on 56 Hz at 1024X768 for safety purpose and Generic LCD display with the same settings if u use LCD
