Title: broadcasting issue

Hi All,

I am handling the small network of about 300 system. As one of my system in the network is broadcasting, therefore my internet start working very slow although i have a 4 mbps line.
Plz give me any solution so that i can monitor my ip of each system so that i can check particular system.

Second thing can i check it through ntop .

first of all, When you have this number of PCs, You should configure VLAN in your network first.

This will helps you to manage your network easily and short out the problem firmly.

You can use TCMDUMP and IPTraf to check the broadcast and bandwidth respectively.
