Hi..
Has any one heard about LTSP ?
Well. it is a system by which you can run a diskless client's LAN.
But today as Hardisk are so cheap.. is it justfied to deploy it ? Moreover it needs the server like giant.. wht you other say ?

Maybe they are so stingy about the harddisk price hahaha. Especially when those terminals that requires a new hardware in it cost more $$$$. It is definitely a giant server they are talking bout here, i agree with u ricky. Another thing is it get's really ugly when the server is down.


In my former University, these terminals are used as a tool to search for books in the library.
