Title: how to configure sendmail service in redhat linux

hi freinds,

i have 30 systems in my network with one REDHAT LINUX 8.0  server(proxy0  having  2 network cards one for global ip another for local ip. all r using conneting to internet throw my proxy..

i want to configure sendmail service in my server for my lan.. so pls help me how..

i configured sendmail but its giving error msg when i type
service sendmail start
Starting sendmail: 451 4.0.0 /etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 95: fileclass: cannot open '/etc/mail/local-host-names': World writable directory

displaying like this.

for this i downloaded another sendmail rpm . i installed it.
now my problem is how to uninstall the old one and how to run the new sendmail which i downloaded recently...

Can u tell me how do u install it? Do u overwrite it? Please show me the command u typed to install. :)
