Hello!
My computer is
Processor   2x Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz
Memory   4048MB (835MB used)
Operating System   Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS
                                Ubuntu 8.10
                                Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
HDD 250Gb
No one system work correct:
8.04-no printer, no Skype sound, camera, no kbedic, no scaner (scaner is connect but it is unvisible, why?),
8.10-no scaner, no Skype sound, no camera, no scaner
9.10-no sound complitly, no Skype sound, no camera, no scaner
On all systems:
Display is CTX PR705F. Work no correct: the lines are curve.
Computer work slow: all processors are 100%
Viruses no. Systems a clean.

I begin with  RedHat true Susse, ubuntu 7.04, 7.10, 8.04,8.10,9.10.
On laptop BENQ Joybook 23E ubuntu9.10 work good, Skype is not completly, scaner not work.
All time I update systems.
Is the sens to change computer?

Are you using x86 version or x64 version of distro ?
