Title: What anti Virus

I have recently bought an Aspire One with linux Lite loaded, having 3 other computers running Norton I am in need of Anti Virus for this one. As this is a notebook for limited use I was looking at one of the free ones but cant get one to load fully,...... any suggestions welcomed thanks Rob

If it is linux then you do not need any antivirus, Linux is virtually free from Virus.

I've read that the only reason for using anti-virus software in Linux is to avoid passing on viruses to Windows computers that you are networked to.  The viruses don't/can't affect the Linux machine.
