Title: How to get hostname or MAC address of sytem in Proxy Access Log

Hi all,

I want to know, how i can get hostname or MAC address of system's in access.log file of squid proxy server.

As far as I remember, access.log gives IP address etc., from that IP, you can get hostname and Mac too. From IP, you may get host name using :
dig -x <IP ADDRESS>

But I am not really sure about your network setup hence above may work or may not work.

You should use Wireshark network analyser and shall be very useful for you!

Dear Sir,
            I have fedora core 7 & Kernel varsion is sunshine. So please help me how to share internet connection. Also I use a broadband connection like as 128/128. I want to share this bandwidth with another pc.
