Title: dvd plug-ins : The source can't be read.
Post by: rhoward on December 06, 2007, 06:45:57 PM
this is my second posting today for something I thought was built into linux. When I load my dvd this is the message I get: The source can't be read.
maybe you don't have enough rights for this or source doesn't contain data (eg: no disk in drive)(error reading nav packet.
I get the same message no matter what player I use. Someoen help me out here please.
Thanks

In linux, any media, before using it need to be mounted.

Though mostly its automount....
but did you try doing same as root user ?
