Title: Sendmail problem : collect: premature EOM: Unexpected close

Hi all


 We have a sendmail server ( RHEL 4)

 Iam unable to receive mails from one domain to my mail box
I analyzed the mail logs ..the error is like

"
Oct 18 15:09:09 moon sendmail[14881]:

l9I9Wspn014881: collect: premature
EOM: unexpected close
Oct 18 15:09:09 moon sendmail[14881]:

close on connection from  "




 can any one give some input

This problem is simply due to that your sendmail is too much slow.
Reason being some misconfiguration or sendmail trying to connect to something which do not exist.
