Title: Symantec Update

I am using squid proxy with proxy_auth. On my Windows clients I have installed Norton 2005. Whenever I try to liveupdate, proxy_auth ask me username and password.

I want to know how to set my acl and http_access which enable me to set automatic update of Norton 2005 without asking username and password.

You may do that but for that you may need to know the exact URL which is used while updating.

But I dont' think that it can bypass proxy_auth because we explicitly force every user to first authenticate and then surf !
