Hello
I have LINUX FC5 installed at first my sound card was auutomatically detected by linux and i heard sounds but after i installed or tried to install alsaplayer my sound card detection doesnot produce sounds in my speakers... can i revert back the changes...
or can i install the drivers for my device
i also wanted to know that can i revert back any changes made to linux fc5
Please Help!!!!

First tell me that installing alsa was fine ?
Also tell us how you installed ie. was it using rpm or some source code ie. from tar.gz package?

alsaplayer-0.99.76.tar.gz was the file and it had a read me in it and i installed it successfully.... by running ./configure and then make install and something but i am sure that it was surely installed..
sir one more i wanted to install wine to run win apps.
plz help soon
