Title: spamassassin how to
Post by: stephen on September 22, 2006, 08:26:39 AM
Dear All,

One of my client wants to setup a linux gateway server with spamassassin to an existing ms exchange server 2000.
Here i can setup gateway to exchage but i want to know how to setup the spamassassin settings...

My linux server is not a mail server. Here all the exchage server packets are sending/receiving thro' the linux.Even this setup i receive the spam for all my exchage users.

Is there any settings to filter the spam with Spamassassin to the inbound/outbound packets transferred across the linux gateway ????...

Thanks in advance....

I think it can work only if its installed on mail server itself. So if you want to keep MS exchange then you to install it on that server itself and there is code available for windows too.
wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/UsingOnWindows

but it means that its not anymore linux topic.
