Title: Mplayer troubles in linux

hi guys
im using fedora linux
i had installed mplayer. It is giving 2 problems:
1) how to configure samba in it so that i can play movies from the lan.
2) it is also not compiling and giving this error :

any suggestions

Mplayer? Do u mean XMMS?
Sori for asking this but im not pretty sure:

Are u actually intend to share ur movie file via SAMBA?

Dragoncity i think what player is talking is about mplayer (the movie player for linux) and the samba sharing that he is talking about is how to play movies from other persons computer without copying it on own hdd.

well see the man page of mplayer ther you will find the code how to play files using samba..

Why not use Xine instead?

If it's normal file sharing in samba? Should refer to:
