Title: how to add Sata Raid to Fedora Core 4
Post by: zhuqing8027 on April 07, 2006, 02:52:37 PM
I just bought two Samsung 250G Sata drives, and I want to add them as a raid0 to my linux box with FC4 installed on a 200G IDE drive. So then I will have 700G total. After I connected the sata drives, I don't know how to set them up. I am new to FC4, and I could only use "Hardware Browser" to make sure the two sata drives are there, but could not find any disk manger to manage the drives. So in FC4, is there a hard drive manager, just like "drakdisk" in Mandrake, to let people manage the hard drives? If there is no such softeware in FC4, how can I set these two drives up to be a raid0 in FC4?
