Title: ftp (i am not able to FTP by cuteftp)

hi all

    I am new in this group
    I am amit

     One problem is i am not connect FTP using (cuteftp)  through linx proxy
     i think squid not support to ftp protocal ony going http trafic
     how can set iptables script   pls solve my problem

You can do ftp using squid, try changing ftp to Passive mode !

 Thanks for replay
 But its web server we are upload & download the file through cuteftp
 but  its show error session closed or time out
 how can we do FTP.

have you tried switching cuteftp to passive mode ?
try other client like filezilla to do ftp.

Hi
First of all tell , Are u using squid as proxy??

If yes then try to logging without squid???

And it mey be possible that some iptables rules blocking this request ..

Just  do this without using iptables...................
