Title: Man in the Middle (MITM) Attack

Im new to this stuff so I have lots of questions!  Be patient with me!  I have a project that requires me to perform a MITM attack and Im not sure where to start.  Can anyone help me?

Don't do anything to other peoples machine though.  It's not nice and I'm sure it is illegal.  The first link tells what it is.
