Title: RJ45-USB than RJ45-Serial port cable LG WLL internet phone

hi

anyone plz help me 2 connect my pc to LG LSP 340 WLL phone for using internet. i got the connection layout for a serial port. Is it possible 2 make a USB cable 4 this purpose?. will i get much more speed using a RJ45-USB than RJ45-Serial port cable?

well.. there will be no difference as the internet connectivity speed of your LG LSP 340 CDMA is not more than 144 kbps so using serial or using USB cable will not matter much.

i got a serial cable . but wen i tried to install the driver cd an eeror is shown that required .dll 'mdminst.dll' is missing. I installed the modem manually but  
 wen tried to use the reliance dialer an error is shown that 'can not get the phone book details' plz help me out

This is a linux help forum and you are asking help for the windows.. sorry can't help here but you can still install it as standard modem and then use proper initializing string.
