Title: Redhat 9 problem
Post by: Linux_noob on September 14, 2005, 01:01:41 AM
When you open redhat 9 for the first time after original installation runs you through a setup wizard that asks for certain things I cannot recall as of now, but my problem is:
I cannot use my keyboard and my mouse on my laptop for whatever reason.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Ok , First of all tell me one thing , during installation of Linux DID U CHANGED THE DEFAULT KEYBOARD AND MOUSE LAYOUT???

If yes then make it default...by installing it again or use the method following(I am not sure wheather it will work)
Just try  this

Boot your system in rescue mode  from LinuX RED HAT 1st CD by typing command
#linux rescue
JUST  follow the instructions there & At last giev command
#setup

After that choose keyboard and mouse options
& just make all default
reboot ur system again
May be it will work
