Post by: sathish on January 22, 2004, 05:16:27 AM
Hello Linux team !!!

I have configured vsftpd in RedHat 9.0 (FTP Server), the connectivity in the LAN for ftp is OK, if I connect to ftp site from outside its very slow...... anything to be added in vsftpd.conf to fast up the ftp connectivity.

(my net bandwidth is 256kbps)

any reasons for the slow..........

Thank you,

Sathish

Satish.. there is nothing major which you can do.. It is all due to low bandwidth b'cause if you say you 256 kbps. then actually it is around 200 kbps or less.. ( not in the case of dedicated bandwidth)
