hi all frens,
i want to change some options in my kernel .
but for making new kernal or upgrading kernel i want kernel source directory
till RH9 this dir was : /usr/src/linux(kernelversion)/
but i cant get in FC3
can any one help me

have you installed the kernel source?

I think the kernel source for most distros are @ the same folder.

yes u r right dear . that is in same folder in MOST cases
but not in ALL cases.
and FC# is the one case which is not included in the MOST cases.
plz dont fire in the Air.
i think no 1 has the answer for this

U can get the source from the fedora mirrors itself. Or http://www.rpmfind.net
Remember, u MUST DOWNLOAD THE --> SRPMS cds if u want the whole thang. If u don't, u don't get any sources to the distribution u want.
I won't give u the step by steps. I can't really remember the details. But definitely very straightforward to find it.
Im don't wanna give useless facts either.
