the link is correct but it is having two extra dots in the end..
Try the following..
http://www.elxlinux.com
Well , its a simple distro good for newer peoples..

Those stinkin dots do it everytime. Seems like a new one that is lighter and not bloated. May have to try that one out. I'll do more research and see what it is close to. Sounds a bit like Gentoo though.
Back in a bit.

This looks like a nice OS. I don't like the Paypal only payment option. I have heard nightmares about Paypal. The OS seems to be nice if you can download it and get it burned to a CD.
I may see if I can get a copy somehow. I'm not using Paypal though.

Looks neat. I'm impressed.
To download go here:

They call it "light" too. At under 600MB, it is light.

Hi all, I just joined. But isn't ELX proprietory? They are ceratinly not opensource.
-
I think I saw a place you can download it. It may require that you pay first though.
I'm doing a bit of emergeing in Gentoo at the moment. Don't want to tie up this 24K connection to much.
I would compile Gentoo or get Mandrake or something myself but I'm always open to options though. may be worth looking at anyway.

I hv tried that.. that is good for newbie.. but not very good.. "Not the one of the most friendly distro"
Any other newbie friendly distro suggestion apart of Mendrake and Gentoo.

gud day all...for newbies like me...i would to tell you all about LormaLinux...it is a little bit neat and now it's on it's 5th release...and currently ranks 31 in world distro's(accdg. to www.distrowatch.org )...hope u guys would like it because i do...for more info, try following the link below:

Just don't be surprised though since LormaLinux 5 came from RH9 and has Fedora 2 as its core...

Knoppix is most user friendly for me. And ubuntu and SuSE,Gentoo are the other linux distros which are ranked better than my choice :)
