Title: anti-virus software
Post by: mliu on April 12, 2005, 11:58:33 PM
Hi, there.
Any experience using anti-virus software under linux?
I am using panda
http://www.pandasoftware.com/download/linux/linux.asp
However, I do not understand how the virus workings under linux.
If it can not get a root password, how can it spread?
So I guess it is only used to scan your ms windows/dos partitions if you hook them under linux, right? But will the virus cost any damage to my linux file?
I think it is a interesting topic. :-)
