Title: problem with i810 chipsets motherbd

hi,
i am really stuck with problem with a i810 chipset motherbd in which i have installed redhat 9 ,it was working fine ,but after few days it can not move to graphics reporting that ddns probe give a bogus value for v  sync and h sync ,i moved to the xfree86.config file there i saw everything is perfect , and now  i can't move to graphics .

plz help me out other than reinstalling !

what are your v sync and h sync settings, are you sure they work with your monotor?  also when did it stop working?  did you change any settings?

Check

/etc/X11/XF86config for video settings and try changing to lower resolution

U can use this tool to help u:

In Slackware:use:
xorgconfig

to configure it.
